Easy is a New York Times Bestseller - a must-read for everyone who loves Slammed by Colleen Hoover and the New Adult genre. Deeply romantic and utterly gripping, this is not to be missed.

Jacqueline seems to have a knack for making the wrong choices. She followed her boyfriend to his choice of university, disregarding her preference. Then he dumped her. She chose a minor she thought she could combine with her music studies, but she's falling behind. And then, leaving a party alone one night, she is attacked. If it wasn't for the timely intervention of a stranger, she would have been raped. Now she must make a choice - give up and give in, or toughen up and fight on. Only the support of the man who is tutoring her and the allure of the guy who saved her from the attack convince her that it's worth fighting on. Will Jacqueline now have to make a choice between them too? And can she make the right decision? It's not easy . . .

I've heard about a million good things about this New Adult book EASY and lemme tell you right now. It exceeded all of my expectations and more.

I'm really loving this New Adult genre (I don't get what everyone's problem with it) and if you're digging NA, EASY is definitely a must-read. It deals with very realistic college life issues, and since I'm only 16 and there's still 2 years left before I go to college/uni, I found reading EASY (and other NA books) really interesting and sort of helps me understand this new life that I'll be having in a few years time. Kinda prepares me, to be honest.

I loved Jacqueline! Yes, she made such stupid mistakes (such as following her boyfriend to his college so they could be together) but you just can't help but sympathize and love her. She's definitely a strong and smart (at times) heroine.
Obviously we have to talk about the guy. We can't NOT talk about the love interest. Anyway, Lucas was a very three-dimensional character, he has so much layers inside him and learning more about him along the way with Jacqueline was never a boring moment. They had a LOT of chemistry. And the scenes with them were done beautifully.

This book deals with a very important issue. Rape. I admit, I was a bit hesistant about reading this book since I tend to shy away from that issue, it just makes me so uncomfortable and everything, but with the way author Tammara Webber executed this said topic, I didn't have any problems with it at all and it has a very positive message. I think every girl should read EASY. (The almost-rape happens in the first chapter, and I'm glad that douchebag got what he deserves in the end. Prick.)

I'll definitely be reading more of Tammara's work and I just hope it would be as captivating as EASY. I say it deserves all the hype it gets. :)

  2. I love the NA genre as well (I mean I can only read so much about paranormal and dystopia) and I'm happy that you do as well. Easy remains the best NA read out there for me, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it too!

  3. Awesome review. I have seen this all over the blogosphere and I do have it on my TBR list. I am desperate to start reading it and just need to find the time. I don't think I have heard one bad thing about this book, so I will have to find the time. I am loving all the new NA books being released.
